Santorum Opposes Choosy Moms’ Right To Choose Jiff
Grand Rapids, Mich — Following his second place finish in the Michigan Republican Primary, former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum held a press conference to outline in strategy for Super Tuesday. While Santorum stressed his conservative credentials and Christian faith, he also unveiled a new talking point.
“I’m going to talk about something that no other President has. For too long, choosy American Moms have degraded America’s moral fiber by picking an ungodly form of sandwich spread,” Santorum said.
Pro-Choosy Moms’ lobbying group, SnackPAC, has yet to issue a statement, but many political analysts believe that Santorum’s stance will hurt him on Tuesday
“I didn’t think his views of banning contraception, saying college is for snobs, and not wanting to help black people were problematic, but this, this is just out of line,” conservative pundit Michelle Malkin said.
Susan G. Komen Foundation Aborts Plan to Defund Planned Parenthood
There has been a massive scandal this week about the Susan G. Komen Foundation planning to defund Planned Parenthood, which, according to congressional Republicans, is a national chain of abortion clinics not unlike McDonald’s.

This move shocked pro-choice people around the country, but it should not have. Republicans like defunding things, like ACORN, federal government, arts education, higher education funding, etc.
Even worse, people who “read and use facts” have been spreading “truths” about Planned Parenthood, like how abortion services are only a tiny part of their budget or how many low income women go to Planned Parenthood for general health services like breast cancer screenings.

This is great news for poor people at risk for breast cancer.
At the end of the day, it’s good to see that the Komen Foundation changed their mind. Sometimes foundations make the wrong decision, but that doesn’t mean they should have to stick to that decision.
