Happy 25th Birthday, Animated GIFs!
Animated GIFs, particularly on Tumblr and discussion forums, have become an essential part of the internet. An Animated GIF even won a city council election. I often encounter real life situations during which I reach to use an animated GIF to reply, but then I remember that we can’t use GIFs in real life (yet).
